Dustin Singleton is internationally published photographer and the founder of IALS Photography, a photography and content creation studio based in San Diego, CA. Growing up in a motorsport’s family, from assisting with the family dirt track car to marathon watching endurance sports car racing, his passion for cars was engrained early in life. Completing his service in the United States Marine Corps, Dustin returned home to pursue a career in the automotive aftermarket industry. Managing a successful mobile electronics shop led to becoming completely entrenched in the tuner scene. From drag racing, drifting, autocross, time attack to car shows, his involvement kept spreading to all types of grassroots motorsports and import car culture. Professional success soon led to other business ventures far removed from the automotive industry. After years in marketing and business operations, the need to pursue a career that matched his personal passions became the catalyst for starting his own photography company. Freelance photography offered a chance to not only pursue a love for photography and photojournalism but also his passion for all sports. Working with small businesses and local sports teams quickly turned to heading to the local track to network and photograph. Dustin now can be found scouting out motorsport’s venues and events across southern California with his wife and business partner, Christina (also long-time car nut). Between automotive events his business stays moving providing product photography and marketing content for small businesses as well as corporate event coverage. When not shooting or writing you can find Dustin at one of the local beaches catching a few waves and enjoying all the wonders Americas finest city has to offer.
